You can now order your STAPLES SCHOOLKIDZ SUPPLY KITS for the 2020-2021 school year! This program allows parents to order pre-packaged supplies for SLES students, and have them delivered directly to their home, saving a trip to the supply store. You are not required to order your supplies through SchoolKidz, but doing so ensures that you have all of the supplies requested by your child's grade level teacher. To order, go to www.shopttkits.com and use Account #40113 for our school. Deadline to order is June 12, 2020. Due to the uncertainly of the current public health situation, the supply boxes will be delivered directly to your home before August 21st and will not be distributed to student's classrooms. Email Marie at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Due to the emergency conditions surrounding COVID-19, our 5th Annual Defeat DIPG Virtual Superhero Sprint & 6K, presented by Headfirst Honor Roll Camps, has been converted to an entirely "virtual race." A virtual event means that everyone can still participate by doing their walk/run on their own (within the constraints of social distancing guidelines).

Please join the Seven Locks Rocks for Michael team for the 5th Annual Defeat DIPG Superhero Sprint & 6K on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Westfield Montgomery Mall. Register and Join Our Seven Locks Team by clicking this link. If you would like to donate to support childhood brain cancer research through the Seven Locks team, click here.
This race was created in memory of 6-year-old Seven Locks student Michael Mosier, who battled a brain tumor called DIPG during his kindergarten year before passing away in May 2015. Michael’s little sister, Lila, is now in 2nd grade at Seven Locks. All proceeds go to childhood brain cancer research through Michael Mosier Defeat DIPGFoundation, the nonprofit founded in his name.
Seven Locks had secured author Mary Amato to run all day writing workshops with the students. In light of recent circumstances, she will not be able to hold the workshops. Instead, she is offering weekly online resources available to parents and teachers.
Here are the currently available resources (this page will be updated every two weeks):
She will also announce new resources and live-streaming events via her social media channels:
